The women of Smart Chicks Consulting are passionate about cultivating communities. We feel that getting to know your neighbors is important and that it takes time and energy.
We feel that giving and service are imperative to our society and that giving in a worthwhile and meaningful way is more difficult than it sounds. Having worked and volunteered with local organizations and nonprofit agencies across the country we are well suited to teach you how to give and show you how much fun giving can be!
Smart Chick
Jennifer has been involved in non-profit management, training and facilitation, volunteer coordination, fundraising, advocacy, and event coordination over the past 12 years. She specialized in providing professional training in a range of different fields from disability services to construction. She has written disaster preparedness plans along with employee manuals creating policies and procedures for new and existing programs.
Jennifer has managed a volunteer program with over 5,000 volunteers during which she created and oversaw large and small volunteer events. She has worked with non-profits in Northern California, Washington State, and for the past 7 years here in Central Florida. Jennifer’s background provides her with a diverse professional skill set that translates not only to the non-profit field but the corporate as well.

An expert in nonprofit management, Andrea helps agencies and corporations increase their capacity for volunteer management and optimize community service opportunities. Throughout her career she has sponsored many fundraising events and coordinated countless volunteer experiences. Whether it’s a small group of 14 - or a large-scale project for more than 1,400 participants - Andrea has done it all. She excels at engaging corporate volunteers and donors. Also, she has also managed and grown an agency volunteer program to 6,000 local volunteers.
In addition, Andrea partners with Rollins College as a co-instructor for the Volunteer Management Academy for their Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership Center. She is the sitting president of the Council of Volunteer Managers throughout the Central Florida area. Prior to her nonprofit leadership experience, she was a leader at the Walt Disney World Resort for more than six years, supervising more than 350 Cast Members within the Food and Beverage, Operations, and Entertainment teams.

Alissa has been involved in human resources management, volunteer coordination, and event oversight for nearly 9 years. With a passion for service, she provides the technical and social skills necessary to amass and produce successful volunteer and internship programs.
Having worked in both nonprofit and professional environments in Los Angeles, Chicago, and now Orlando, Alissa brings a wealth of experience and success to Smart Chicks Consulting. Her expertise in developing relationships with local agencies - as well as universities - provides Alissa with a wide backdrop from which to continue her work.

Molly Cook
Smart Specialist
Molly has provided public relations initiatives for a broad spectrum of clients within the nonprofit, education and hospitality industries. Her primary duties involve writing press releases, developing key messages and talking points, media pitching and conducting research for industry trends.
Since moving to Central Florida three years ago, Molly has established strong working relationships with print, radio and television news media. She has garnered exposure for her clients in several national outlets, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Woman’s World magazine and CBS Radio, among others.
With a passion for creative writing, Molly is a published author and is also a freelance writer for Central Florida Lifestyle magazine.
